I’m Ed Booth.

Like so many in Cambridge, I first came to visit. A romantic weekend with my girlfriend, now wife. I was in love with her when I arrived, but soon fell for the city too.

30 years down the line that love of Cambridge is something I hope to hand on to you.

Professionally, I’ve worked as a documentary producer and director for many years, much of it in the BBC’s Science department.

Whist still working in Television, I’ve recently turned to guiding in the city, passing a 6 month course to win the coveted Green Badge award.

It’s a job I love as much as television; mainly because my audience, whilst smaller, is right in front of me.
